The Colloquium  "Internationalization of Contemporary Economy" for the students, doctoral students and  academic staff of VGTU  will take place on Thuesday, 2  May,  at  12.10-16, in the Faculty of Business Management  (r. 620).

We would like to inform you that the public defense of your Master’s Thesis will take place on January 12-13, 2017, in the first half of the day, in our Faculty of Business Management (6 or 7 floor).
 
You will be timely informed about exact time of public defense, as well as about the room of public defense.
 
We would like to inform you that until January 5, 2017:
  1. the text of your Master's Thesis must be fully prepared in compliance with the requirements of VGTU, must be signed by you,  and the title page and the task sheet must be signed by you, your supervisor and department head,
  2. you must to  "integrate" the full text of your Master's Thesis into the VGTU electronic system.

LEISURE AND STUDENT ACTIVITIES

 

VGTU prepares students for success in both their professional and personal lives. The University offers a wide range of activities to ensure a vibrant student experience. These activity groups include sports clubs and tourism club. The arts also thrive in this setting with extracurricular options such as chorus, theater, and dance. New members are welcomed into the groups each fall, supporting their essential role in the dynamic University community. 
 
Currently, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University has more than 70 clubs and societies. University students and alumni can actualize their potential in folk dancing, choral singing, tourism, sports, photography and other fields. Especially outstanding among arts groups are the mixed academic choir "Gabija" and the folk dance ensemble “Vingis”, who won the highest award of amateur arts groups "Aukso paukštė" and who make the name of the University famous not only inLithuaniabut also worldwide.
