Creative and comunicative solutions in educational practice
Bologna process determined the importance and relevance of educational activities of the beginning of 21st century. Creative society poses new challenges for universities as well as academic community and changes their role. The lecturers of modern university have to assume new roles required by the increased competition among universities. They are not only educators and designers of knowledge. There is an urgent need as well for cooperation with the business sector and school. Modern lecturers not only develop study programs, but also have to promote them. They not only carry out scientific researches, but also have to communicate their results in order to be visible in the global academic community. Creative solutions recently cover the entire spectrum of teachers’ activities: from the idea to its communication, from carrying out research to its dissemination and practical application in cooperation with business sector. There is also a need to investigate the changing role of university lecturer and to estimate the lecturer’s success factors. Therefore, the main areas of research of this group will be: a) the educational activities, including teaching and learning processes; b) the change of role of universities in creative society, including the teacher’s image and its evaluation.
