On May 13–17, following the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme employees of the scientific library of Riga Technical University Maija Neilande, Oksana Zaiceva and Maija Piekuse visited the library of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH).

During the visit, guests were introduced to the services provided by the library, resources available to the university community, subscribed databases, scientific communication, institutional repository, organized trainings, and exhibitions. The employees of RTU scientific library also shared their experience. Similarities and differences of libraries, challenges faced in providing services to academic society are discussed.

The guests toured the library spaces, visited the Sports and Art Center, the laboratories of the Faculties of Electronics, Mechanics and Transport Engineering, Architecture and Creative Industries, Antanas Gustaitis' Aviation Institute and Creativity and Innovation Centre VILNIUS TECH "LinkMenų fabrikas".
