Vilnius Gediminas Technical University publishes scientific and study books, as well as informative, journalistic, and representative publications to provide the necessary literature for the research and study process. All published books are peer-reviewed, and plagiarism is checked using the iThenticateSimilarity Check tool. The publication of VILNIUS TECH is organised in accordance with the regulations of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University on the Publishing of Studies and Research Publications. Each year, publishing plans are approved by the VILNIUS TECH Rectorate based on "the Annual VILNIUS TECH Monographs Publishing Plan" and "VILNIUS TECH Study Publications Publishing Plan". Moreover, on the basis of these documents, the publishing process is organised.
The book publishing process is also based on the guidelines published in the Regulations on Publication Ethics (http://lotus.vgtu.lt/aktai/aktai.nsf) and supports the principles of ethical publishing (the Regulations and Plans are only available to members of the VILNIUS TECH community).

The book publishing process has paid particular attention to the quality of editing, layout, design, and printing of books. The book publishing process involves cooperation with the Lithuanian Language State Commission, printing, paper supply companies, seminars, and training on various publishing issues. Author book signings are organised, book fairs presenting VILNIUS TECH publications are attended, and contacts are made with new potential book distributors.
