VILNIUS TECH community members are invited to explore the JoVE  (Journal of Visualized Experiments) video platform, a temporary access database with more than 14,000 videos for learning, teaching and research. The videos are filmed in the world's leading scientific institutions and laboratories, demonstrating the sequential flow and methods of experiments and research using state-of-the-art technology. It is easy to learn and replicate by watching the videos, enabling university students, scientists and researchers to understand complex processes and laboratory techniques.
The content of JoVE covers research in physics, natural sciences, medicine, psychology, engineering, statistics, environmental sciences and more. The content of the journals is carefully selected by editors and experts. All articles in JoVE are indexed in PubMed, Medline, Web of Science, Scopus and other major databases.

The Education part is a series of educational videos from different disciplines. The filmed and animated videos convey complex scientific concepts and laboratory techniques in a detailed and clear manner. These videos are excellent educational materials that allow lecturers to complement curriculum content and increase student engagement.

JoVE can be accessed from the VILNIUS TECH computer network and remotely via VPN. The VPN service requires additional two-factor authentication (i.e. confirmation via the mobile device app or a call) to ensure security.
