Virtual seminar – „Utilize the accessible resources wisely: journal assessment for publishing and information management using Mendeley tool“
VILNIUS TECH Library is inviting academic community members to participate in an international seminar “Utilize the accessible resources wisely: journal assessment for publishing and information management using Mendeley tool” organized VILNIUS TECH and ATHENA European University alliance.
The seminar will be held on May 11th, 14:00 (Lithuanian time zone), in English, via Zoom platform.
The topics discussed during the webinar are:
After the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during Q&A session.
The topics will be presented by VILNIUS TECH Library’s representatives: the Head of Scientific Information Department Raminta Pranckutė and the Chief Librarian at Training and Public Relations Department Julija Gylienė.

All applicants will receive Zoom link by e‐mail before training.

- The main sources, tools and criteria for selecting journal for publishing
- The essential elements of assessing journal‘s quality and credibility
- Journal search and evaluation in Scopus database
- Bibliographic information management tool „Mendeley“ and its effective usage
