The new 2022 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) edition and 2021 JIF values
Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is an analytical tool intended for assessing the quality of the journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection databases.
More information on the 2022 JCR edition and tendencies of 2021 JIF values can be found here >>>.
The list of 2022 JCR journals can be found at Master Journal List (MJL) website. In order to download this and other journal lists of the main WoS Core Collection indexes (SCIE, SSCI, ESCI ir AHCI), as well as of additional indexes, the sign-in with the WoS account details (or creation of WoS account) is required. More information about WoS account and access to different WoS products is available here >>> (on the tab “Additional features”).
Both JCR tool and MJL website can also be accessed directly from the Web of Science database interface:
More information about JCR tool and its usage can be found here >>>.
- Since 2021 JCR also includes journals indexed in the Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) and the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). However, the main JCR journal citation indicator Journal Impact Factor (JIF) is not calculated for AHCI and ESCI indexed journals.
- JCR citation reports are generated using citation data from all main WoS Core Collection journal indexes, including citation data from the Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) and the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
- The calculation of 2021 JIF values also includes the data of Early Access (EA) publications and citations.
