Virtual exhibition: „Under the Wing of Freedom“
Every year on January 13th we commemorate the Freedom Defenders‘ Day.
How many feelings and experiences are in the word freedom ...We each understand freedom in our own way. But we must always cherish and protect it. People sacrificed their lives for freedom 30 years ago. 1991 on Sunday night, January 13, people who defended the freedom and independence of Lithuania were killed. Among those who died during the tragic events of January 13, 1991, was Rolandas Jankauskas. He was a student at the Faculty of Electronics of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
