Dormitories

VILNIUS TECH has six dormitories in Vilnius, located on Saulėtekis Avenue and V. Grybo Street, and one dormitory in Klaipėda.

Applicants admitted to first-cycle (bachelor’s) studies through the main admission process must submit their applications by August 21, 12:00 PM. Students will be informed about their assigned dormitory place between August 21 and 22.

How to apply for student accommodation

Here you will find all the key information on how to successfully submit an application for a dormitory place.

Log in to the VILNIUS TECH Information System

After receiving login details, VILNIUS TECH students who wish to apply for a place in the university dormitories must complete their application through the VILNIUS TECH Information System at mano.vilniustech.lt.

Complete the application

The application must include your first and last name, date of birth, personal identification number, home address, and contact information.

Prepare the required supporting documents

Submit the following three mandatory certificates:

  • Proof of parents’ income and all other family income over the past three months (including pensions, benefits, allowances, etc.).
  • Proof of the student’s registered residence.
  • Proof of family composition (only minor children and children up to 25 years old who are studying), obtained from the Population Register (Registrų centras), local eldership, or municipality.

Important! When completing the application, provide:

  • Your home address.
  • The address and contact information of one or both parents (or guardians).

Additional (optional) documents:

  • A copy of parents’ death certificate (if you are an orphan).
  • Court decision on guardianship/custody (if you lived in a foster home before your studies).
  • A copy of a pensioner certificate (if your parents receive an old-age pension).
  • Certificate of socially supported person status (from the Social Support Centre).

Information about your assigned place in VILNIUS TECH dormitories can be checked in the Information System at mano.vilniustech.lt , using your university email (firstname.lastname@stud.vilniustech.lt) under the ORDERS section.

Wait for the decision

The decision on the application will be made on August 21.

You are invited to come and sign the Accommodation Services Agreement.

Each future resident will be assigned an individual time to arrive and sign the Accommodation Services Agreement. You can check your scheduled arrival and signing time on the website http://www.bonodomo.lt/vilniustech-bendrabuciai no earlier than August 21, 2025.

Important information

  • Scheme of the room
    Usually, it is a block, which consists of two double rooms, a hall, WC, shower, and a kitchen. There are a few blocks that contain one double room, WC, shower, and a kitchen.
  • Furniture
    Each room is fully furnished with two beds, one desk, a little cupboard, a table, and two chairs. There is a sink, refrigerator, electric cooker and two dressers in every kitchen. There is a wardrobe in each room. There is a special work-room for architecture students.
  • Living Conditions
    Each person is provided with a blanket, pillow, pillowcase, sheet, and towel. Bedsheets are changed for cleaning every ten days, but in case of need, they may be changed more often. Rooms are cleaned two times a week. A guest may refuse the cleaning if he/she wants to take care of it by himself.
  • Services
    Meals are not included in the rent price. Students prepare their own meals in the common kitchen (two rooms share a kitchen). There is a café in the hostel, a grocery store, and a laundry close to the building. If there are any problems with electricity, water, locking, etc, a student should inform the receptionist and the problem will be eliminated.
  • Regulations
    There is a receptionist in the dormitory 24/7. Inhabitants are expected not to have guests after 11pm. The dormitory is locked up at night. However, inhabitants are let in at night.
  • Private Accommodation
    It is also possible to rent a flat in the city. The price for a 1 bedroom flat in the city is around 200-400 EUR per month though well furnished places tend to be more expensive. The ESN VILNIUS TECH (Erasmus Student Network) team is very closely involved in helping students to find private housing.

Deposit: €600. Provided that no damage has been caused, this will be refunded upon departure.

You will need to pay the dormitory fees at a bank within the first three days after your arrival.

Due to the large number of incoming students, we are not always able to offer single-room accommodation.

Additional Information

  • Information for Students on Cleaning and Maintenance of the VILNIUS TECH Dormitory Facilities
    • Common areas of dormitories (corridors, halls, kitchens, including stoves, sinks, and other equipment or inventory, sanitary facilities such as showers and toilets with installed plumbing fixtures and mirrors, elevators, main staircases, building entrances, janitor rooms, and trash disposal areas) must be cleaned with wet methods every working day. Cleaning begins no earlier than 8:00 a.m.
    • Each dormitory must have at least two cleaners working every weekday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All rooms and all other horizontal and vertical surfaces must be thoroughly and properly cleaned on working days.
    • Floors and mats in shared dormitory showers and toilets must be cleaned and disinfected daily using fungicidal agents. At least once a week, ceramic-tiled walls in these areas must be wet-cleaned.
    • Floors in shared dormitory kitchens must be cleaned daily. Ceramic-tiled walls must be wet-cleaned at least once a week.
    • Dormitory common leisure rooms must be wet-cleaned at least twice a week.
    • Dormitory shared balconies must be cleaned at least once a week.
    • Dormitory elevator floors must be wet-cleaned every working day, and elevator walls, doors, and mirrors must be cleaned daily.
    • Trash bins in VILNIUS TECH dormitories and on their premises must be cleaned, disinfected, and refilled with new trash bags every working day.
  • Bicycle Storage

    VILNIUS TECH informs dormitory residents that bicycle storage facilities have been installed at Dormitory No. 3 (Saulėtekio al. 16-100) and Dormitory No. 1 (Saulėtekio al. 25). From 2024 onwards, dormitory residents who wish to store bicycles in these facilities can access them using their student ID.

  • Accommodation for Students from Other Educational Institutions

    Students from other educational institutions may be accommodated in VILNIUS TECH dormitories only if there are vacant rooms remaining after VILNIUS TECH students have been placed. Information is available by email: bendrabuciai@vilniustech.lt.

  • Temperature Measurement in Dormitories

    Contactless thermometers are installed at the entrances of all VILNIUS TECH dormitories. Students returning to their rooms can measure their body temperature. If a student has a fever or feels unwell, they may return to their room but should contact their primary care physician as soon as possible.
