Tuition and Other Fees

All applicants must pay the 100 EUR non-refundable application fee. The fee can be paid by bank transfer to the VILNIUS TECH account or by credit card in the VILNIUS TECH payment site.

A 200 EUR registration fee is paid with the first tuition fee after receiving the official acceptance letter.

People who completed their education abroad or through international programs can apply for state-funded study places in Lithuania, if they belong to one of these groups:

– citizens of Lithuania, the European Union (EU), or European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries, and their family members;

– non-EU/EFTA citizens and stateless persons who have a permanent residence permit in Lithuania;

– people of Lithuanian origin living abroad;

– foreign citizens and stateless persons who have the right to live in Lithuania (permanently or temporarily), have completed secondary education under the Lithuanian system, and are studying in short-cycle, bachelor’s, or integrated study programmes;

– foreign citizens and stateless persons who have the right to remain in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania in the case specified in Article 22¹(1)(5) of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Status of Aliens, have completed secondary education under the Lithuanian secondary education programme, and are studying in short-cycle, bachelor’s, or integrated study programmes.

The following tuition fees for one year (2026-2027 academic year) are set for EU and Permanent Residency students.

If a student’s visa/TRP is denied or he/she cannot come for studies for another important reason, we may refund tuition and registration fees. Evidence of visa/TRP denial is required.

Students must open a bank account in Vilnius with at least 7500 EUR/year. A bank statement from the bank is required.
All expenses related to accommodation, food, traveling, extension of Temporary Residence Permit (TRP), copying literature, re-examination, and medical services are the sole responsibility of the student.

Students who intend to work in the Republic of Lithuania can do so after obtaining a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) in Lithuania. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students can work full-time while studying in Lithuania.

You can pay your fees to Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in one of two ways:
