How does patenting work at VILNIUS TECH?
An invention disclosure form is completed and submitted to the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Centre.
Specialists assess whether the invention is novel and has commercial potential.
The most appropriate form of protection is selected – a patent, a utility model application, or other intellectual property measures.
The University assists in preparing and submitting the application to the State Patent Bureau or other institutions.
The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Centre assists with patent administration, manages fees, and identifies commercialisation opportunities.
