Student mobility for traineeships

• The traineeship placement is relevant to the student’s field of study;
• The proposed traineeship tasks and activities contribute to the development of study-related competencies;
• Motivation to do a traineeship in the chosen organisation.

Students who apply for internships have to fill and submit the online application in Mobility Online.

You must obtain an official Letter of Acceptance/Invitation from the host institution with official dates.

The scholarship partially covers travel, insurance, and visa costs, so it is recommended to have an additional source of funding to cover living expenses in the host country. The scholarship is paid in two instalments: 80% (upon submission of all documents before departure) and 20% (upon submission of all necessary documents after Erasmus+ traineeship). During Erasmus+ internship, the payment of other types of scholarships and/or loans is not interrupted.

1. Additional financial support may be available for disadvantaged individuals who belong to the vulnerable groups in the community may be eligible for additional financial support.

2. Additional financial support for green travel

Students who choose green travel options—such as train, bus, or carpooling—may incur higher travel costs compared to air travel, depending on the distance. To encourage sustainable mobility, additional financial support is available for those opting for eco-friendly transportation.

3. Individual grant based on actual costs spent

Support for special needs may be granted to students who have already been awarded an Erasmus+ mobility grant to cover the following expenses:

• Measures and/or services, depending on special needs, the nature of the illness/disability. The need for these expenses must be justified by medical documents, i.e., the need for the aids and/or services for which you are requesting additional support must be confirmed by a medical document issued by a doctor. It should be noted that the latter document must clearly indicate what specific services you will need during your studies or internship abroad, and how many of them. Support will be provided to cover the actual costs incurred.
• To cover the living and travel costs of an accompanying person, if justified.

Please enter the dates from the Acceptance Letter in the Request, otherwise it will be rejected.

Please fill and sign the Grant Agreement at least one month before the start of your Erasmus+ studies.

• Check the validity of a passport or national identity card;
• Purchase travel tickets and arrange accommodation;
• Arrange mandatory health insurance (and any other travel insurance as required) for the entire traineeship period;
• Prepare and submit visa application documents. Students should contact the embassy or consulate of the host country, or check the official website of the host institution for information regarding visa issuance procedures.
