  • Scholarship (academic support)

    If an applicant is admitted to a full-time state-funded doctoral studies program, a monthly scholarship (academic support) from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania is provided every month:

    • for the first year – 1406 EUR;
    • for the second–fourth year – 1628 EUR.

  • Application Documents

    Applicants to Informatics and Informatics Engineering science fields doctoral programs should submit all the application documents to VILNIUS TECH Doctoral School:

    1. An application.
    2. Copies of the Master’s or equivalent qualification diploma(s) with diploma supplement(s).
    3. A certificate of academic qualification recognition in the Republic of Lithuania. recommendations must be by a supervisor of the topic
    4. A curriculum vitae.
    5. Recommendations by two scientists of the relevant science field; one of these recommendations must be by a supervisor of the topic  to which the applicant is applying.
    6. A research proposal on the selected topic (applying to Informatics Engineering science field).
    7. A list of scientific works (articles in scientific publications and conference proceedings) and their copies.
    8. A research paper (applying to Informatics science field if scientific publications are not provided).
    9. A copy of a valid personal document: a passport (for the citizens of all countries) or an ID card (applicable only for the citizens of the European Union countries).
    10. A copy of the receipt of the application fee payment.
    11. A certificate issued by CEFR, IELTS, TOEFL or any other competent institution (see article 8.9 of the Regulations).
    12. A confirmation of a passed mathematics examination OMPT-D test (see article 8.10 of the Regulations).
    13. Concent for processing personal data.
  • Certificate for Recognition of Academic Qualification

    Those applicants who have obtained their higher education abroad must enclose a certificate of academic qualification recognition in the Republic of Lithuania.

    If this document is not submitted, the applicant’s application will not be considered.

    For recognition of academic qualifications, obtained abroad, an applicant should submit the following documents to the VILNIUS TECH Doctoral School by e-mail doktor@vilniustech.lt:

    • A high-quality copies of Bachelor’s degree diploma and its supplement;
    • A high-quality copies of Master’s degree diploma and its supplement;
    • A copy of a valid passport;
    • Consent for processing personal data

    All the documents should be translated into English.

    Application fee for the nationals of non-European Union countries – 100 EUR.
