Staff Mobility for Teaching

Staff mobility for teaching offers academic staff the opportunity to share their expertise and strengthen international cooperation by delivering lectures or seminars at a partner higher education institution abroad.

OPEN CALL FOR “ERASMUS+” VISITS (2026-2027 AUTUMN)

We invite to submit applications for “Erasmus+” teaching (academic staff) visits for the autumn semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. The deadline for applications is 7th of June, 2026.

The online application process is as follows: 

  • Connect to manovilniustech.lt;
  • Select “International opportunities“ > “Erasmus+” > “Apply for teaching visit”;
  • You will be redirected to the Mobility Online system. After completing the application, select “send application”.

Please note that the Mobility Online system does not work with VPN, you should disable VPN before submitting the application.

Priority for teaching visits is given to:

  • candidates who teach in English at VILNIUS TECH;
  • visits during which new teaching materials/common subjects or programs are developed;
  • candidates participating in the “Erasmus+”  program for the first time or who have gone on fewer teaching visits in the last 2 years compared to other candidates;
  • candidates working at VILNIUS TECH with a workload of at least 1.0 full-time equivalent;
  • candidates with fewer opportunities (more information).


Please note:

  • participation in conferences is not covered by “Erasmus+” funds;
  • if you plan to go to the Blended Intensive Program (BIP, teaching visit), please indicate this in your application;
  • teaching visits are only possible to institutions with which we have inter-institutional agreements (list of partner institutions below).

The results of the applications will be announced by 22th of June, 2026.

Staff mobility visits should take place by 31st of January, 2027 (European countries) or by 30th of June, 2027 (other countries).

Important dates

To ensure a smooth process, please complete the following steps before your departure:

Complete the mobility agreement and grant agreement via the Mobility Online platform.
Review financial conditions
Check the fixed travel cost details
Complete the request via mano.vilniustech.lt following the provided instructions.
Coordinate with your faculty Erasmus+ coordinator to agree on the goals and expected outcomes of the visit.
Plan your travel: Tickets and accommodation can only be purchased after the secondment request is approved.
Collect the Confirmation of Performed Staff Mobility with the original signature from the host institution.
Discuss opportunities for collaboration between institutions.
Encourage academic exchange by inviting staff and students to visit VILNIUS TECH.
Submit all documents confirming the visit and travel via Mobility Online.
Complete the report through mano.vilniustech.lt.
Fill in the European Commission survey within 30 days after your visit (a link will be sent automatically by email).
Present the outcomes and insights gained during the mobility to the VILNIUS TECH community.

VILNIUS TECH welcomes incoming staff from other European universities to deliver lectures.

In the case of a teaching visit, the Erasmus+ inter-institutional cooperation agreement is required.
Duration of the teaching mobility – up to 3 working days.
Please contact your home university regarding funding and documents needed.

VILNIUS TECH welcomes incoming staff from partner universities for a teaching visit.

Erasmus+ inter-institutional cooperation agreement is required.
Duration of the teaching mobility – 5 working days (without travel).
Teaching activities must include at least 8 teaching hours per week.
All nominations are processed by the International Office.
