On March 23 (Monday) at 14:00, you are invited to attend the training session “Unlocking Effective Discovery, Publishing Success, and Your Research Impact with Web of Science”, intended for researchers, academics, doctoral students, and everyone interested in scientific information search and publishing opportunities.
The session will be led by Marcin Kapczynski, who will introduce the possibilities of the university-subscribed Web of Science database and demonstrate its practical use in scientific work – from research planning to the evaluation of results.
During the training, participants will learn how to effectively use Web of Science tools: conduct comprehensive searches of scientific literature, identify leading and emerging research trends, build collaboration networks, manage references for manuscripts, and select the most suitable journal for publication.
The session will also cover how to manage and strengthen an author profile, analyze citation metrics, and evaluate the impact of scientific research. The training is designed to help researchers plan their studies more effectively, seek funding, publish research results, and increase their visibility in the international academic community.
Location: S1 602 Hall, Saulėtekio al. 11
Time: 14:00–15:30
Participants are invited to attend in person, but it will also be possible to join remotely.
