Our tips:
- Sharing an apartment with other students is cheaper than living alone;
- carefully read the rental agreement, ask for a translation to the English language;
- be aware of scammers;
- ask your mentor (local student) to make the first call;
- it is more complicated to find a place for 5-6 months than for 9-12 months. Negotiate with the landlord to sign a contract for a shorter period by offering your service to find other students to stay after your departure. There are always new exchange students coming each semester.
