Training and Consultation

Effective discovery of information sources is a critical element of scholarly research. In preparing academic work, it is essential to review existing studies in the chosen field, assess the significance of the research problem, determine a well-grounded research direction and methodology, and situate one’s findings in relation to previous research. Information-management and citation tools support this process by helping to organize sources, manage bibliographic data efficiently, and ensure accurate and consistent citation. Students, researchers, and faculty members are invited to take part in training sessions organized by the VILNIUS TECH Library, with the competencies acquired formally recognized through the VILNIUS TECH digital badge system.

Members of the VILNIUS TECH community may register at any time for individual or group consultations with a library specialist. In addition, training sessions and consultations tailored to specific needs are offered in both Lithuanian and English.
