The works of study graduation prepared and defended at VILNIUS TECH are registered in the Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library System (eLABa) according to 27 January 2022 “Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto dokumentų įkėlimo į eLABa talpyklą ir jų apskaitos tvarkos aprašas” approved by the order of the rector (DVS No. 10.8-81).

eLABa ETD is hosting:

All VILNIUS TECH defended doctoral dissertations
VILNIUS TECH Arts Doctoral Works
The best selected Master’s Degree Graduation Work from VILNIUS TECH faculties

VILNIUS TECH graduation works have to be registered in the eLABa ETD database:

Selected Master Theses within 3 days after their public defence
Doctoral dissertations within 15 days after their public defence

Registration of Graduation Works
Graduation work registration process of eLABa ETD
- On the eLABa website, click Submit to repository
- select Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from the list of institutions
- enter your name and password using VILNIUS TECH institutional login data
- click New document
- at the top of the data filling form, select ETD from the drop down menu at the section “document type”
- fill the form with the required data about the work and attach the copy of the described document
- check the filled data and click Send to library staff member to approve

Search of Graduation Works

VILNIUS TECH graduation works can be searched in the VILNIUS TECH virtual library by selecting Electronic Theses and Dissertation (VILNIUS TECH eLABa ETD) among the library resources.

Doctoral theses are also available at VILNIUS TECH institutional repository.

LITERATURE RESOURCES

VILNIUS TECH students can employ a wide and various resources provided by the Library, as well as scientific literature sources published by VILNIUS TECH (books, text-books, doctoral dissertations, conference proceedings) for the preparation of their graduation works.

If you cannot find the required literature source within VILNIUS TECH Library’s resources (or you do not have access to the full text) you can apply for loaning this source from other libraries by using Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services.

TRAININGS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Templates for the theses:
By logging into the VILNIUS TECH institutional repository, you will find templates in Lithuanian and English (accessible to members of the VILNIUS TECH community who have logged into the repository. Important! Members logging into the repository for the first time need to inform the Library’s Scientific Information Department by email raminta.pranckute@vilniustech.lt to be granted access rights).

Trainings:
Library organizes trainings on several topics including searching for scientific literature. The trainings can be arranged on demand.
