Fundamentals of environmental protection and legal regulation (1 academic hour)

  • Key environmental protection principles

  • National and international environmental policy

  • Principles of green procurement

Main pollution sources and prevention (2 academic hours)

  • Air, water, and soil pollution

  • Waste management (hazardous, municipal, and construction waste)

  • Preventive measures in daily activities

Climate change challenges and organisational responsibility (2 academic hours)

  • EU Green Deal and 2030–2050 targets

  • Energy efficiency and renewable resources

  • Reducing CO₂ footprint in organisations

Circular economy and sustainable resource management (2 academic hours)

  • Principles of the circular economy

  • Waste prevention and recycling

  • Water resource management

  • Green logistics

Practical workshop (1 academic hour)

  • Group work: developing a sustainability plan for an organisation
