About the course

Green Energy is a course that provides knowledge about sustainable and environmentally friendly energy generation and transformation systems. Over the past 15 years, many EU regulations have been introduced requiring Member States to expand the use of renewable energy sources, implement sustainability policies, reduce energy waste, and adopt environmentally friendly solutions. Renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, and ocean energy offer an alternative to fossil fuels. They help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, diversify energy supply, and decrease dependence on unstable and unreliable fossil fuel markets, particularly oil and gas.
