Vilnius Tech bendruomenei prieinama elektroninių knygų platformos ProQuest Ebook Central (Academic Complete & Library Thing Books Cover Widget Package duomenų bazė), suteikianti galimybę naudotis plačiu akademinių leidinių pasirinkimu. Jos turinį sudaro įvairių mokslo sričių spektras – nuo socialinių ir humanitarinių iki tiksliųjų bei inžinerijos mokslų. Universiteto bendruomenė gali skaityti daugiau nei 230 tūkst. elektroninių knygų pavadinimų, iš įvairių tarptautinių akademinių leidyklų. Pasitelkus patogias paieškos ir filtravimo funkcijas, vartotojai gali greitai rasti aktualią literatūrą studijoms, moksliniams tyrimams ar savarankiškam gilinimuisi į dominančias temas, taip palengvindami visą mokymosi ir informacijos paieškos procesą. Platformoje taip pat integruotas Ebook Central tyrimų asistentas – akademinis dirbtinio intelekto įrankis, skirtas pagerinti studentų mokymosi patirtį ir supaprastinti informacijos paiešką duomenų bazėje. Jis pateikia pagalbą tiesiog knygos skaitymo aplinkoje ir generuoja įžvalgas, pagrįstas tik konkrečios knygos turiniu, todėl užtikrinamas didesnis informacijos tikslumas, patikimumas ir akademinis skaidrumas. If you need to print your papers, make a copy or scan a part of the book, you are welcome to use the multifunctional device in the Library. Printing, copying and scanning is a paid self-service facility available to all VILNIUS TECH students, academic staff and employees. After logging in with the e. VILNIUS TECH password on the print.vilniustech.lt website and topping up your personal service account, you can upload the print file in PDF, WORD, EXCEL formats. Please note that if you wish to print in COLOUR it is recommended to upload your documents from any University's computer using the direct printing option of the fail (PDF, Word, etc.) and selecting the University's printer. When a file is sent to print, it is not printed straightaway but reserved on the print server for 24 hours. Once 24 hours are up, unprinted files are deleted from the print server. Printed pages can be picked up within 24 hours from any of the above-mentioned devices by logging in. This can be done by: With student ID; By entering your personal PIN (you need to create it before printing on the print.vilniustech.lt website by selecting Change Details); By entering your VILNIUS TECH Login and Password in the print service portal print.vilniustech.lt. Facilities to bind your reports and assessments are also available at the VILNIUS TECH Central Library (Saulėtekio al. 14). The payment is automatically debited from your personal service account, which can be topped up via PayPal payment system. To top up your account, log in to the VILNIUS TECH print service portal at https://print.vilniustech.lt and select the "Add Credit" option. To log into print.vilniustech.lt, you have to use the same username and password that you use to log into other IT resources of the University (mano.vilniustech.lt, etc.). Through this portal, you can keep track of your account activity and see the entire service history. Please refer to the instructions below for full details of this service.
