Members of the Faculty of Creative Industries actively participate in research activities and receive various awards for achievements in research, studies, creative work, social engagement, and other fields.

Publications and competitions

Research Monograph Competition

For the past seven years, staff of the Faculty of Creative Industries have received at least one prize each year in the annual VILNIUS TECH Monograph Competition.

  • 2024
    • 2nd place – Dr Asta Zelenkauskaitė’s monograph Creating Chaos Online: Disinformation and Subverted Post-Publics.
    • 3rd place – Assoc. Prof. Dr Eglė Jaškūnienė’s monograph Photography in Lithuanian Graphic Design (1953–1988): Technology, Communication, Propaganda, and Aesthetics.
  • 2022
    • 1st place – Prof. Dr Tomas Kačerauskas and Prof. Dr Algis Mickūnas, In Between Communication Theories Through One Hundred Questions.
    • 2nd place – Prof. Dr Jūratė Šliogerienė, Social Media Use in University Studies.
    • 3rd place – Dr Nida Vasiliauskaitė, Rationality or Justice? (Post)modern Utopia in Late 20th-Century Political Philosophy.
  • 2021–2018

    Each year, the Faculty’s researchers receive 2nd or 3rd place awards for their monographs.

    2nd prize – Dr Jolita Linkevičiūtė-Rimavičienė, Lecturer at the Faculty of Creative Industries, for the monograph Record of Origin: Communication and Cultural Hybridisation in Lithuania.

    2020

    2nd prize – Prof. Dr Tomas Kačerauskas and Lecturer Tautvydas Vėželis, Faculty of Creative Industries, for the monograph Regions of This-Sidedness: 50 Questions on Heidegger’s Philosophy.

    2019

    2nd prize – Dr Aušra Žemienė, Lecturer at the Faculty of Creative Industries, for the monograph Personal Names of Lithuania Minor: 18th–19th Centuries.

    2018

    3rd prize – Assoc. Prof. Dr Agnieška Juzefovič, Faculty of Creative Industries, for the monograph The Phenomenon of Emptiness.

Indexed in Scopus, Q1 quartile in the field of Cultural Studies.

The journal publishes research on creativity, creative communication, and innovation in society.
