MAKERS 5.0
If you’ve ever dreamt of mastering rapid prototyping techniques, this is your chance. We invite beginner-level students to dive deeper into the world of 3D modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting, woodworking, metalworking, CNC, and other cool technologies! We offer a two-week-long intensive course (one week fully online, packed with theoretical and practical workshops, teamwork, and other fun) and a fully on-site week here in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the very creative workshops of VILNIUS TECH ‘LinkMenų fabrikas’.
This summer school, we focus on sustainability and the circular economy. How can we implement circularity in new product development? How can we create new things while using recycled materials?
When and where:
- June 1th-5th lectures online,
- Online "Zoom" platform,
- June 8th - 12th – workshops on-site in Vilnius, Lithuania,
- On-site at Vilnius Gediminas technical university "LinkMenu fabrikas", Vilnius, Lithuania. (Linkmenų g. 28)
Cost:
- The summer school is free of charge!
- The school is implemented in Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) mode.
- Contact your institution’s International Relations Office regarding the funding for opportunities for traveling and accommodation costs.
Candidate requirements:
- English proficiency (minimum B1 level in listening, speaking, reading, and writing);
- Student of product design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a relevant field;
- Basic knowledge of rapid prototyping and product design;
- Ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment.

Once you’ve submitted your application, please wait for our acceptance letter. If you are invited, the email from us will reach you after the sign-up is closed.
All applications are carefully reviewed, and we’ll contact you with the results as soon as the selection process is finished.
After receiving our confirmation, please contact your institution’s International Relations Office to explore available funding opportunities and next steps.
The summer school is free of charge. The school is implemented in Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) mode. Funding is provided by sending institution for traveling and accommodation costs. Housing is not provided from receiving institution.
