The creative Lithophane 3D picture-lamp workshops for seniors aim to spark interest in technology among older adults and encourage their involvement in technical activities. The workshops were designed to familiarize seniors with modern technologies while allowing them to apply their own wealth of knowledge and experience. The project covered a broad range of technical disciplines, from product design using 3D modeling and printing to woodworking and painting techniques.

To create a unique, personalized Lithophane 3D picture-lamp, additive manufacturing technology based on 3D printing was used. Each participant selected a personal photograph capturing a cherished memory, which was transformed into a 3D design and integrated into the lamp’s shade using Lithophane 3D printing technology. This innovative method allowed participants to craft one-of-a-kind lamps with deep personal meaning.
