Information for EmployeesThe Faculty of Environmental Engineering encourages international staff mobility by offering academic and administrative staff the opportunity to take part in teaching, training, or traineeship visits at partner institutions abroad through the ERASMUS+, EURAXESS and BAFF programmes. VILNIUS TECH is a leader in Lithuania in terms of international staff mobility.

International ProjectsVILNIUS TECH participates in international projects, ranging from Erasmus+ student exchanges to collaboration on developing technologies, upgrading infrastructure, and solving real-world societal challenges in Lithuania and internationally.
International Memberships
The Faculty of Mechanics is a member of several international organisations. These memberships strengthen cooperation with the international academic community and provide students and academic staff with access to the latest developments in science and engineering.

Member of ESEM
The Faculty of Mechanics joined ESEM (European Society of Engineering and Medicine) in 2016. ESEM promotes biomedical engineering education across Europe. PEGASUS is a network of leading European aeronautics and space universities, currently comprising 28 members from 11 countries. -
Member of ESB
The Faculty of Mechanics has been a member of ESB (European Society of Biomechanics) since 2019. The Society promotes scientific research and advances in the field of biomechanics. It is the largest biomechanics society in Europe, with more than 1,500 members. -
Member of IIW
The Faculty of Mechanics has been a member of the IIW (International Institute of Welding) since 2015. The International Institute of Welding is a global association whose main objective is to promote knowledge exchange in welding and related technologies.
International Partners
The Faculty of Mechanics expands its international partner network each year. Currently, VILNIUS TECH cooperates with more than 250 universities worldwide. This cooperation provides students and academic staff with international experience, opportunities to implement international projects, and to build intercultural and interdisciplinary connections.
