About the Institute
The Institute of Building Materials has been part of the Faculty of Civil Engineering since July 2017.
The Institute carries out the following activities:
- Development and improvement of production technologies for ceramic products, silicate products, mortars, and concrete products
- Research on the use of production waste in the manufacturing of building materials
- Development of new building materials with specific properties and design of their production technologies
- Implementation of production quality control and quality management systems in building materials companies in line with European standards
