Exhibition “Stories of Travel” by Angelija Eidukienė

September 2, 2026 - September 29, 2026

We invite you to visit the painting exhibition “Stories of Travel” by Angelija Eidukienė, on display in Gallery A located in the VILNIUS TECH Library (Saulėtekio al. 14).

The works presented in the exhibition invite visitors on a journey through memories, emotions, and impressions from different places. The artist’s paintings reveal not only images of the locations she has visited, but also the feelings, experiences, and personal reflections associated with her travels. Through stories told with colour and light, real landscapes intertwine with dreams and reflections of the inner world.

Angelija Eidukienė was born in Latvia to a Lithuanian family. She inherited her creativity and love of art from her father, who was also a painter, draughtsman, and woodcarver. Growing up in an artistic environment, she actively participated in art classes and competitions from an early age. After studying fashion design, she chose to continue her artistic journey at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Arts in 2003 and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in 2007.

The artist regularly holds solo exhibitions, participates in group painting projects, and has been designing private interiors for more than twenty years. Currently, A. Eidukienė creates and works in the Art and Design Studio she founded in Kaunas, drawing inspiration from the natural surroundings near Rumšiškės, where she lives.

According to the artist, the exhibition Travel Stories is about moments worth preserving: mountains, the sea, horizons, flashes of light, and feelings that are difficult to express in words. Each painting serves as a window into places she has visited or places she still dreams of exploring.

The exhibition opening and a meeting with the artist will take place on 15 September (Tuesday) at 4:00 p.m.

The exhibition will be on display at Gallery A from 2 to 29 September.
