Based on this, the mission of SNOwMan was to develop tools that ease the cooperation between SME owner-managers and business intermediaries. By developing a counselling toolbox, it is hoped business intermediaries will have a better premise when counselling owner-managers. In the conference several key note speakers shared their experience in the field of non-technological innovations:
- Entrepreneur and Board Member of Lithuanian Family Business Association, Lithuania. International Team Leader; 15+ years experience in advisory, business management & investment projects (main sectors: Financial, Real estate, Infrastructure, Utilities, Energy, IT). Taurimas was talking about "The Phenomenon of Overall "Family Investor" Parameter During All Stages of Business Financing: Diversified Targets & Needs of Potential Investors".
- Kim Klyver is professor in entrepreneurship at University of Southern Denmark and adjunct professor at University of Adelaide, and previously held positions at Swinburne University of Technology and Stanford University. Kim’s main research interests include entrepreneurship, SME growth social capital (social networks), human capital, gender, and institutional theory. He is co-author of the international textbook “Entrepreneurship in Theory and Practice – Paradoxes in Play” Kim was talking about Growth in owner-managed SMEs – Uniqueness, challenges and opportunities.
