We would like to invite you to the final YEBO project conference “Internationalisation of the PhD: through possibilities of today to challenges of the future”.
The online conference will take place on 12-14 April 2021.
It will include many interactive parts, where researchers, professors, supervisors, senior advisers, administrative staff, managers and PhD students take an active role through various activities. From panel discussions on challenges and ambitions or ground-breaking World Cafes on modernisation of the PhD and supervision of PhD candidates to the Scientific Poster and 3min pitches competitions on PhD students research!
Erasmus+ capacity building project. „Development of the Internationalisation of PhD studies in South-Africa“ YEBO was implemented in 2017-2021 through the cooperation of 8 European partner institutions and 7 universities in South Africa. One of the project results is the development of a PhD portal for the effective search of international research opportunities. VILNIUS TECH has contributed to implementing project training for PhD students and analysing the state of the art of the PhD international activity. The University also established new mutually beneficial collaboration with YEBO partners.
This event will also give the opportunity to present what YEBO has achieved over its 3 years’ lifespan and how it contributed to the national plan for PhD studies in South Africa. This is a sneak peek, but the conference will include much more that we keep as a surprise for the attendees.
