VILNIUS TECH Library invites you to follow the published new dissertations. The dissertation „Development of a multiple criteria neuroa-nalysis method and intelligent decision-support system for built environment“ prepared by VILNIUS TECH, Darius Skirmantas. The dissertation was prepared in 2017–2022, supervisor – Prof. Dr Habil. Artūras Kaklauskas.
The dissertation was defended at the public meeting of the Dissertation Defence Council of Civil Engineering in the Senate Hall of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University at 10 a. m. on 30 August 2022.
„The doctoral dissertation examines the impact of the built environment on human quality of life and emotional well-being. The research object of the dissertation is the built environment and the stakeholders involved and willing to achieve their objectives in this environment. The dissertation aims to develop a multi-criteria built environment data analysis and decision-support method, entitled as UADARM, and a smart decision-support system that enables stakeholders, including real estate developers, construction companies, building management companies, municipalities, designers, scientific institutions and others, to contribute to the development and management of the built environment.
The doctoral dissertation addresses several main tasks: developing a recommendation method, identifying any issues with the decision-support system and assessing the system’s reliability. The selected methods were used to justify the usefulness of the data analysis and decision-support system, data analysis methods, and the decision-support system. Empirical research of the developed systems were carried out.“
