The international human rights documentary film festival „Nepatogus Kinas“ (Inconvenient Films) has been held annually since 2007. It is a non-commercial event that creates space for dialogue on human rights, politics, social responsibility, and sustainability. The festival aims to raise awareness of global issues and encourage critical thinking.
This year the festival will take place from October 7 to 26.
„This year’s program features more than fifty true stories, organized into thematic sections for the audience’s convenience. Once again, „Nepatogus kinas“ will present everything from inspiring people who change the world to completely crazy and controversial stories. And, as always, we welcome viewers not only in cinemas – this year, almost the entire program will also be available online from anywhere in Lithuania“ says the festival director Gediminas Andriukaitis.
The films will be available not only in cinemas and at home but also in nearly 300 libraries across Lithuania, including the VILNIUS TECH Library.
