On May 26, 2026, a progress evaluation visit took place at VILNIUS TECH, involving external experts: Prof. Dr. Mile Dželalija from the University of Split (Croatia) and Prof. Dr. Louise Kempton from Newcastle University (United Kingdom). The purpose of this visit was to assess the university’s progress in implementing the recommendations provided by the institutional evaluation experts in 2022.
In preparation for the visit, the university’s working group prepared a comprehensive progress report, which detailed the implementation of each recommendation and outlined future action plans.
In addition to discussions on changes in governance, quality assurance, research, and study processes, significant attention was given to the “third mission” during the visit. Expert L. Kempton shared insights from the experience of universities in Sweden and Germany, which helped these institutions achieve positive results in terms of regional impact and national development.
