Publication Registration Reminder for 2023 Publications in eLABa PDB

December 5, 2023
We wish to remind you that, in accordance with the "Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto elektroninių dokumentų įkėlimo į Lietuvos akademinės elektroninės bibliotekos informacinę sistemą tvarkos aprašas" (approved by the Rector on 2022-01-27, DVS No. 10.8-81), publications published in 2023 must be registered in the Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library (eLABa) publication database (PDB) by January 25, 2024. Publications registered in the system from February 1st onwards will be considered "late" and will not be included in the accounting year for 2022.

Instructions on how to register publications in the eLABa PDB are available on the VILNIUS TECH Library’s webpage, under the Scientific Communication section VILNIUS TECH Publications.

We also want to remind you that publications indexed in Scopus, Crossref, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases can be registered more easily and quickly by using the publication entry import function from these databases into eLABa PDB (note: publication entry import from the Web of Science (WoS) database is temporarily unavailable).

To facilitate a smooth and prompt registration process, we kindly request that upon receiving email messages from the eLABa system or library staff, you supplement the publication records with the required data. Without this information, we will be unable to approve the publications, and they will not be included in the generated publication lists.

It is important to note that the publication lists presented on the University’s employees' contact page may not be entirely accurate. Therefore, we encourage you to generate your publication lists directly in the eLABa system.
