We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lena Grzesiak from the Department of Human Resource Management at the University of Lodz (Poland) will deliver classes on 10 and 13 November 2025 as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
The lecture topics will be as follows:
- 10 November 2025 time 14:30-17:55 room 709 (S03) “Internal Audit as a Leadership Support Tool”
- 13 November 2025 time 10:20-11:55 room 620 (S03) “People Analytics as a Driver of Strategic HR Management”
During the first session, students will not only gain an understanding of the fundamentals of internal auditing, but also explore how the audit function supports leadership in achieving strategic goals, enhancing governance structures, and managing risk effectively. The lecture will emphasize the evolving role of internal audit beyond traditional control and compliance functions. Dr. Grzesiak will illustrate how modern audit practices can help leaders foster trust-based organizational cultures, make informed decisions, and strengthen ethical and transparent management. Special attention will be given to the importance of collaboration between auditors and senior management as a cornerstone of effective and ethical leadership.
The second lecture will focus on the strategic role of People Analytics in modern human resource management and demonstrate how data-driven insights support evidence-based decision-making. Participants will examine the growing importance of HR data analysis in designing effective HR strategies, forecasting trends, and fostering organizational development. The lecture will also show how analytical tools can provide deeper insight into employee needs, enhance HR effectiveness, and build a competitive advantage through a data-driven HR culture.
Both sessions will be delivered in English.
