Researchers of the Faculty of Creative Industries develop their expertise in three main research areas:

Communication for social inclusion through co-creation and citizen science.Research in this area is carried out by the Centre for Citizen Science, the Department of Entertainment Industries, the Department of Creative Communication, and the Department of Foreign Languages.

The city in the context of the creative society: issues of creativity indices and communication.Research in this area is carried out by the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies, the Department of Entertainment Industries, and the Department of Creative Communication.

Social innovation and technologies in the creative industries.Research in this area is carried out by the Department of Creative Communication, the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies, the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Lithuanian Language, and the Creative Competencies Centre.
