Department of Engineering Graphics

The Department’s academic staff teach graphic disciplines to University students, developing their spatial thinking, technical documentation skills, and digital design competencies. The Department conducts research in the development of BIM elements, management of graphical documentation, standardisation of design data, and advanced graphic engineering solutions.

Founded in 1961, the Department of Engineering Graphics was called the Department of Technical Drawing until 1992. It is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr Daiva Makutėnienė.

The Department of Engineering Graphics aims to provide a strong engineering foundation through graphic disciplines and to develop innovative research in the fields of digital engineering.
