The Department prepares Bachelor’s and Master’s specialists in data analysis, data science, and statistics who are able to apply statistical methods in various fields of research and practice. It conducts theoretical research on limit theorems in probability theory, as well as applied statistical research ranging from technological processes to economics and genetics.
