An exhibition by Bosnian and Herzegovinian artist Saša Nikolinović, “Still Putting Pieces Together”, is currently on display at the VILNIUS TECH Library. The exhibition explores themes of memory, identity, time, and transformation. The artworks intertwine everyday imagery, symbols, fragments of history, and personal experiences, inviting viewers to discover their own meanings and unexpected connections.
“In this exhibition, I present works that emerge through a combination of printmaking techniques, painting, collage, and layered surfaces, most often through experimentation rather than a predetermined plan,” says S. Nikolinović.
According to the artist, collage in his work is not only an artistic technique but also a way of re-examining fragments of the past, giving them new meanings, and revealing connections between what is visible and what remains beneath the surface.
The exhibition is on display in the second-floor foyer of the VILNIUS TECH Library (Saulėtekio al. 14).
