This Study book contains information on evaluating and selecting the environmental impact of planned economic activity considering relevant aspects of implemented international and national legislation, which is reviewed and examined. It provides graphic illustrations of the effects of planned economic activity on the environment and diagrams of their evaluation and selection, as well as individual stages and procedures of these processes. Also, the publication reviews aspects of public participation in environmental impact assessment and selection processes and links with other environmental sectors, such as biodiversity and landscape protection, climate change, and waste management.
