Festival Programme
This year’s programme presents the latest award-winning documentaries recognized at international film festivals. The films explore themes such as human rights, social justice, identity, war, environmental issues, and other topics of global relevance. To mark its anniversary, the festival will also offer a special retrospective programme featuring some of the most memorable films screened over the past two decades.
The festival invites audiences to discover films that continue to resonate long after the credits roll. These documentaries encourage viewers to ask questions, engage in discussion, and see the world from new perspectives.
The international human rights documentary film festival “Inconvenient Films” (Nepatogus kinas) has been held in Lithuania since 2007 and is one of the country’s most important documentary film events. Each year, the festival presents documentaries on human rights, politics, social responsibility, sustainability, and other issues of public importance.
