Pjezoelektrinė slenkamojo – sukamojo judesio pavara = Piezoelectric sliding-rotary motion drive / LT 6981 B. 2023-02-10 / išradėjai: Andrius Čeponis, Dalius Mažeika. The invention discloses a high-precision piezoelectric actuator that provides independent rotational and sliding motion of the rotor or sliding motion of the flat slider in a plane. The piezoelectric drive comprises a piezoelectric actuator consisting of an elastic double elliptical-shaped stator, four multilayer piezoelectric transducers arranged two in each elliptical-shaped vibration transducer in the direction of the major ellipse axis and a rigid frictional contact element attached to the elastic bridge that connects the two elliptical-shaped vibration transducers. The contact element is in the sliding contact with the preloaded rotor that can be implemented as a cylindrical rod or a plate-shaped slider. Rotary – sliding motion of a cylindrical rod or sliding motion of the slider in a plane is obtained when multilayer piezoelectric transducers are excited by two electrical signals having a frequency equal to one of the resonant frequencies of the stator bending oscillations and a phase difference of π/2. The rotational motion of the cylindrical rod is generated when two piezoelectric transducers located on the same side of the mounting plate are excited by an electrical signal of the same phase, while the sliding motion is obtained when two piezoelectric transducers located in the same elliptical-shaped vibration transducer are excited by an electrical signal of the same phase. The displacement resolution of the drive is increased when piezoelectric actuator is excited by two asymmetric electrical signals with a frequency close to one of the resonant frequency of bending oscillations of the stator.
Penkių laisvės laipsnių pjezoelektrinė pavara = Five degrees of freedom piezoelectric drive / LT 7007 B. 2023-07-25 / išradėjai: Andrius Čeponis, Dalius Mažeika.  The invention discloses a high-precision piezoelectric drive which generates independent rotary motion of the spherical rotor about three axes and sliding motion in the plane, and improves the dynamic characteristics and control of the drive. The drive consists of two piezoelectric rings fixed on elastic supports mounted on elastic rings, and connected by an elastic cone. Three spherical contacts are installed on both piezoelectric rings and are used to rotate the rotor or move the system on a flat hard surface. An asymmetric electric signal is used for excitation. The dynamic characteristics are increased when the resonant frequency of the support coincides with the resonant frequency of the bending vibrations of the ring. The location of the supports corresponds to the vibration nodes of the piezoelectric ring. Control of the rotational and sliding movement of the piezoelectric drive is improved by the use of a cone-shaped stator that allows reducing of the transmission of vibrations from the upper ring to the lower and vice versa.
Erdvinio mikroobjekto matmenų ir jo paviršiaus reljefo nustatymo sistema ir būdas = System and method of determining the dimensions of a spatial micrometre-sized object and its surface relief. LT 7019 B. 2023-08-25 / išradėjai:  Vytautas Bučinskas, Inga Morkvėnaitė-Vilkončienė.  The invention relates to systems for determining the dimensions and surface relief of micrometre-sized spatial objects by generating a composite image of the examined spatial object using the microscope. The invention aims to improve the detection quality when object is transparent or partially transparent or when the surface of the object is soft and/or easily damaged. The examined three-dimensional micrometre-sized object is photographed from above with a microscope, and the contour of the micrometre-sized object is determined by the sensor with an electrode for measuring electrochemical properties between the sensitive surface of the mentioned electrode and the surface of the micrometre-sized object at each scanning point, thus determining the height of object under investigation and its coordinates at each point at the scanned point. Thanks to the program installed in the computer processor, a general image of the examined spatial micrometre-sized object with its real dimensions and its surface relief is obtained.
Skaldos ir mastikos asfalto mišiniai su perdirbtos medienos plaušu = Breakstone and mastic asphalt mixes with recycled wood fibers. Fiber-modified crushed stone and mastic asphalt mixtures, the composition of which includes a mixture of fillers from fractionated crushed stone and mineral powder, an adhesive additive, processed small pieces of scraps generated during the production of wood products – fiber and polymer-modified bitumen, but differ in that the filler mixture consists of 8-11 mm , 5-8 mm and 2-5 mm crushed stone fraction. Mixtures of crushed stone and mastic asphalt differ in that the fiber used for modification is formed from processed small pieces of scraps generated during the production of wood products.
Reketinis plataus spektro spinduliuotės jutiklis = Ratchet-based sensor of broad radiation spectrum / LT 7030 B. 2023-10-10 / išradėjai: Jonas Gradauskas, Steponas Ašmontas, Algirdas Sužiedėlis, Oleksandr Masalskyi, Ihor Zharchenko. The invention is directed to the field of electronics related to sensors of electromagnetic radiation. The essence of the invention is that in the active layer of the ratchet radiation sensor, an asymmetric electric potential is created in a heterojunction graded gap formation between two electron conductivity semiconductors 1 and 2, characterized by a narrow Eg1 and a wider Eg2 forbidden energy gap, respectively, and the potential gradient is formed during the epitaxial growth of the semiconductor 2 gradually changing the magnitude of its Eg2 from its maximum value Eg2max to its minimum value Eg2min = Eg1, thus obtaining a semiconductor structure whose bottom level of the conduction band on the vertical energy scale rises sharply from the lowest position corresponding to semiconductor 1 to the maximum position corresponding to the value Eg2max in semiconductor 2, and gradually descends to the lowest position until Eg2 becomes equal to Eg1. Such active layers with asymmetric potential are grown sequentially for a predetermined number of times required to obtain high sensitivity of the sensor. The ratchet-based radiation sensor detects radiation whose photon energy is both lower and higher than the narrowest forbidden energy gap of the active layer.
