Professional development courses

The Faculty offers professional development programmes and continuing learning opportunities in the fields of civil engineering, materials engineering, and safety engineering. The courses are delivered by experienced faculty lecturers.

Participants who complete the training programme and successfully pass the examinations are awarded a qualification course completion certificate issued by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

The preferred course topics, duration, and training schedule are agreed in advance.

Research and Services

Each year, researchers at the Faculty of Civil Engineering carry out hundreds of research and commissioned projects for companies and institutions in Lithuania and abroad. They conduct research in various fields, develop innovative solutions, and patent their results.

Companies in the construction sector are invited to offer internship opportunities to students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Companies are invited to propose final thesis topics related to current challenges in the construction sector, technologies, or advanced design solutions. Students who choose a topic proposed by a company work on real engineering problems, while companies benefit from research results that provide practical value and new technical ideas.
