- Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as multi-factor authentication (MFA), two-step verification or dual authentication, is a security method that confirms a user’s identity using more than one verification factor.
The user first enters their password. Then, login is confirmed through a second step, usually via a phone call, text message or a dedicated authentication application.
This process is essential to protect users’ personal data and university accounts.
If you encounter any problems or have questions, please contact the IT and Systems Centre Service Department. The team is ready to assist.
