SCIENCE – FUTURE OF LITHUANIA Conference for young scientists has been opened
A plenary meeting of the Science – Future of Lithuania Conference has opened a session of thematic conferences for young scientists to be held in all the faculties and departments of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU).
It has been opened by Vice Rector for Research of VGTU Prof. habil. dr. Antanas Čenys by inviting all the young scientists to join the conference sections in their faculties.
“We are starting a session of conferences for young scientists with a plenary session where some issues relevant for both Lithuania and Europe and that are favourably treated by applied sciences will be presented, i.e. logistics and digital construction“, A. Čenys said.
A plenary meeting of the Science – Future of Lithuania Conference is organised annually by the Science and Research Office of VGTU to open a session of thematic conferences for young scientists. This year, Sales Manager of Ruptela Company Vaidotas Zaura gave a presentation on IT technologies in transport sector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Popov from the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Structures presented the development and trends of digital construction.
The main aim of the Science – Future of Lithuania Conference is to encourage and direct senior and master students, PhD students, graduates and other young specialists to start or continue their research activities, to develop their skills in presenting research results both orally and in writing.
The best papers of young scientists are later reviewed and published in the Science – Future of Lithuania Journal.
