Successful implementation of Erasmus+ Capacity Building project HR4ASIA
On 2–4 October Vilnius Gediminas Technical University participated in the final conference of Erasmus+ Capacity Building project „Strategic Human Resources Management for Southeast Asian Universities“ in Vietnam. This event marked the successful implementation of all project activities as well as gave a start to the new project development.
The project was coordinated by the University of Danang (Vietnam). VGTU, together with 3 other EU institutions from Spain, Portugal and Italy actively contributed to the capacity building in 7 Universities from Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. VGTU was leading the project Work Package on Capacity Building and coordinated the 4 trainings for staff at Southeast Asian Universities.
VGTU team was actively involved in consultation of the partner Southeast Asian Universities in the course of their development of HR Strategic development plans and action plans.
The success of the project, new developed partnerships as well as the progress made by Southeast Asian Universities towards the transformation of their HR management systems brought a valuable experience to VGTU. This experience serves as the source of inspiration for the future capacity building projects.
