Young scientists receive nominal scholarships
On February 25, 2014, at Lithuanian Academy of Science, the Association "INFOBALT" awarded the best young scientists for the interdisciplinary research in physical and technological sciences. Two students from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) became laureates and received the nominal scholarships - Andrius Dzedzickis from Mechanics Faculty and Tomyslav Sledevič from Electronics faculty.
"INFOBALT" scholarships have been awarded for the fourth time this year. The innovation-friendly environment in Lithuania is promoted, by supporting and encouraging young scientists to obtain new knowledge, to continue scientific explorations and strenghen cooperation with business organisations.
Kristijonas Kaikaris, President of "INFOBALT", Professor Valdemaras Razumas, President of Lithuanian Academy of Science, Justas Pankauskas, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and Dainius Pavalkis, Minister of Education and Science, participated at the meeting and congratulated the laureates.
