Urban Analysis Laboratory
The Urban Analysis Laboratory is a structural unit of the Department of Urban Design within the Faculty of Architecture at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, established on January 5, 2004, by a resolution of the VGTU Senate.
The laboratory’s goal is to collect, organize, and disseminate knowledge about the country’s urban development and to apply this knowledge in practice when addressing various challenges related to the development of Lithuanian cities.

Objectives of the Laboratory:
- To provide professional and methodological assistance to state and municipal institutions and private organizations in addressing complex urban planning issues and specific design tasks.
- To bring together urban planners from VGTU, as well as researchers and doctoral students in related fields, with the aim of influencing national policy in the field of urban planning.

- Land-use planning and design.
- Land-use development monitoring.
- Feasibility studies for land-use development.
- Design proposals for land-use and urban complexes.
- Consulting and expert services in the field of urban planning.
