Starting from October 9, banks have begun verifying* whether the name of the payment recipient indicated in a payment order matches the name of the bank account holder. Therefore, it is very important that you have provided the Finance Directorate with your personal employee or student bank account details.
 

Salaries, scholarships, or other payments will not be transferred to another person’s bank account.

 

All employees and students are kindly asked to check as soon as possible whether the bank account provided to the Finance Directorate is your personal account.

If a non-personal account is currently entered, you must update it to your personal one by October 19.

 

*These changes have come into effect across the European Union and apply to everyone using payment services. The recipient verification service aims to ensure that funds are transferred to the person or company for whom they are intended.
