What is the purpose of this study programme?
Programme is focused to provide the modern knowledge from the electrical energy systems engineering and related fields, necessary for specialists developing modern electric power systems, to develop ability to apply the knowledge professionally. Students will gain special knowledge in electrical energy system engineering, necessary for application of modern technologies and independent development of new products and services, and to perform applied researches in electric power system engineering area. To develop the abilities to creatively apply of theoretical knowledge and scientific investigation results, and to improve professional competence during whole life learning.
What will students learn?
- Very specialized knowledge in the field of electrical energy systems engineering related to research and development of the new products and services, necessary in development, service and improvement of photovoltaic and wind energy systems.
- An ability to independently develop, maintain and improve modern electric energy systems, photovoltaic and wind energy systems.
- Skills to select and use mathematical methods, software and hardware in order to solve problems in electrical energy systems engineering area, and analyse and interpret results.
