Global Economics
This application system is intended non-EU applicants. Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania or other member states of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), as well as persons (non-EU/EEA) granted a right of permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania, holders of Diaspora and people of Lithuanian origin have a possibility to apply for a state-funded place. One and a half year long (3 semesters) master's degree programme. Programme is taught in study cycles, when student study only one subject at a time.

Why this study programme?
The Economics Engineering studies are meticulously crafted to prepare students for a wide spectrum of economic and management activities demanded by today's globalized economy. This program equips students with comprehensive knowledge in economics and risk engineering, enabling them to adeptly address various issues related to risk assessment and management.
- Our program has been recognized among the top 251-300 universities globally in Economics and Econometrics according to the "QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023." This internationally acclaimed degree positions students to excel in the dynamic landscape of Industry 4 and Disruptive Innovation.
- With small class sizes, we ensure a focused learning environment, promoting a high degree of interaction. Through group work and real-world problem-solving, students develop collaboration skills essential for success in international companies, foreign capital firms, and foreign trade.
- Our students have the unique opportunity to engage in internships during their studies and pursue study abroad experiences in partner universities through the Erasmus+ program in European countries. Furthermore, graduates can partake in an additional internship post-graduation through the Erasmus+ program in a European country.
- The program also opens avenues for research, providing access to university libraries and an extensive selection of electronic databases. Graduates have the option to continue their studies in a PhD program conducted in English.
What will students learn?
- Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of Behavioural Economics, Quantitative, and Expert Solution Methods.
- Depending on the chosen specialisation, students will learn Global Economy, International Economics and Geopolitics, Comparative Analysis of Regional Economies; Business Finance for Executives, Management of Financial Investment, Financial Economics; Applied Economics, Operations Research with Data Visualization, and Engineering of Economic Solutions.
- Students optionally can choose from Big Data Technologies, Social Economics, Contemporary Economies, Innovation Theory.
- Knowledge and practical skills necessary to analyse and solve a range of economic and business-related data in an international environment.
Exchange Period Abroad
Faculty of Business Management offers excellent opportunities for all students wishing to study at a foreign partner universities. Currently, the faculty have more than 120 contracts with Universities in 23 European countries, bilateral agreements with American, Asian universities, which include more than 150 seats for exchange students every year.

Master can work in managerial and executive positions in national, EU or international organizations with activities in financial and operational management.
